| | HDK N-20 is Transparant Filler for Rubber Industrial, Like TPR (Thermo Plastic Rubber), PU (PolyUrethane), PVC, Sole, PVC Panggang, Rubber Compound etc.
Description of Filler
Filler is particles added to material (plastics, Composite material, Concrete) to lower the consumption of more expensive binder material or to better some properties of the mixured material.
Such As:
Table of common filler-binder materials
(Material/Binder/Filler/Importance of filler) Concrete: cement, gravel, stone, sand cheaper Drywall gypsum: cardboard, tenacity, volume, main part
Particle board: synthetic Resin and glue, sawdust, tenacity, volume, main part
Plastic explosive: Plasticizer and oil, explosive, explosiveness
Tyre rubber:rubber, soot, volume and better mechanic properties
Resin epoxy: epoxy, microspheres, improve viscosity of resin
A binder is a material used to bind together two or more other materials in mixtures. Its two principal properties are adhesion and cohesion. We have adhesion promotor. * glue * adhesive * thickening * Paint. Adhesion is the molecular attraction exerted between bodies in contact.
Hydrophilic HDK® is produced by the introduction of volatile chlorosilanes into an oxyhydrogen flame. Chemically, fumed silica consists of ultrapure amorphous silicon dioxide and has the appearance of a light white powder. Hydrophilic fumed silica is wetted by water and also disperses in water.
Hydrophilic HDK® is used as a thixotropic agent in coatings, printing inks, adhesives, UP resins, plastisols, or as a flow aid, for example in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food-processing industries.
Fumed silica is manufactured by a similar flame hydrolysis process to synthetic fused silica, however it is in the form of a fine powder/dust and is typically used in applications such as fillers for rubbers and plastics, coatings, adhesives, cements, sealants, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, inks and abrasives.
